So I am going to 10th grade this September and I live in NYC. My high school automatically signs up the 10th graders to take the PSAT. Alot of my friends are going to prep this summer. I also heard you can take the PSAT in 11th grade, so if I take the PSAT in 11th grade when do I take the SAT? Catholics, I need help with finding a name for a club . . . ?

I'm starting a religious club at my Catholic school. It is a club that will focus predominantly on the Latin M. The idea for this club came after I started going to the Latin M 3 yrs ago. Some of the activities for this club are: retreats/field trips, exposition & adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Latin M once a month, daily prayers in Latin, and discussions about theological issues (Latin M history, sacraments, etc). The club moderator wants me to think about a name for the club. It has to be something in Latin, of course. My church's community is called Mater Dei (Mother of God). I want something along those lines; something simple, yet has a strong definition to it. And it can be up to 3 to 4 words. Can you please help? What is causing my Advent 7101 laptop to shut down suddenly?

If it's anything like my Advent 7011 then it's probably overheating - it's designed to do it. It's a really stupid setup, it has the air intake in the bottom where it can't really get any air and the heatsink is too small and the fan is too feeble. You should check that the heatsink is clean and that it's airflow unobstructed. I have to prop mine up on two books in the summer and not get it to work flat out.

She manipulates him, and he treats her like crap. The other day they were in an argument because he was angry with her for not giving him a hug (she couldn't because this was at church) and she was mad at him for not sitting by her. She was actually CRYING because he didn't sit by her. She's my friend and all, but that is so stupid. She does it all the time. They are always mad at each other because one of them didn't hug each other or kiss each other or sit by the other (and they only see each other at church and that's not the place they should be doing it anyway.) My friend always manipulates this guy, and he is often mean to her, and they always getting trouble for too much PDA. Question about my boyfriend...?

Why do people think counseling will always fix your marriage?

I see so many comments/responses to the questions from people who want to know what they should do when their spouse is in love with someone else or if their spouse doesn't want to be in the marriage anymore. I also see harsh comments about "the other woman" uming that she's just there because the husband is lonely or infatuated. A counselor cannot make your partner fall back in love with you when he's no longer is AND it does not make him a "dog" for falling out of love with you. It takes two to watch a marriage break. Just because you are married does not mean you somehow have a power to change the other persons heart. Let them go!! If they want to be with you... they'll stay. Going to a "counselor" will only prolong the departure but if he Truly in in love with someone else...no body can change his heart. Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't love nor is "in love" with you anyway? Children can survive off the love of one parent. They have been for years and turn out better when they see their parents BOTH living with healthy self esteem and self respect.

I'm a freshman in high school and been looking at colleges. My grandma just came back from St. Augustine for vacation and she said I would love Flagler College. I would like to double major in acting and print journalism. I'm more of a tv/film actor, but I know most universities go into mostly stage, except for NYU. Even USC, CAL ARTS, and UCLA only go into stage according to the people who I talk to. My grandma asked them and said the same thing. She said it has a beautiful campus tho, and that they said that they have a great journalism program. I'm from South Florida. I was born in Tampa for a couple months, and then moved to Coral Springs/Tamerac for 5 years, and then moved to Lake Worth near Palm Beach for another 5 years. I now have been living in Metro ATL for 4 years. I don't really like GA at all, I hate the fact that it is too southern for me. In FL it wasn't like that... Is St. Augustine like where I use to live, or is it different? I always heard NF is really different from SF. How is Flagler's journalism program, and will I get what I what? I like the fact that it is only 4 hours from both my grandparents and 6 and a half hours from home which isn't too bad. I can always go see my grandparents on weekends. Weight Gain From Medication (Gleevec)?

I've been on Gleevec for CML since November of 2002. I've been steadily gaining weight and I believe it's due to the medication. I eat very healthy (lots of fresh spinach salads with fresh veggies, lean meat, fish), don't eat chips, sweets and other junk food, don't drink soda, drink about 1.5 liters of water in the morning at work and a liter of green tea in the afternoon at home. I figure my daily calorie intake is around 1000 calories a day. I used to exercise daily but there were no changes whatsoever and I got frustrated and stopped. I'm still active in my daily routine and I walk a lot. I'm getting frustrated that I seem to just be gaining and gaining. :-( What can I do? I can't stop taking Gleevec.

I don't know much about pugs, but I do know about yorkies. Yorkies typically do not care for children, especially small children. They can be territorial and mine is not good at getting along with other dogs. Yorkies are HORRIBLE at potty training. They take a lot of time to housebreak and some never fully get it and continue to have accidents in the house well into adulthood. Yorkies also tend to be fairly expensive. Good luck.

Alzheimer's Crafts to do together?

My Papa had Alzheimer's and I completely understand what you mean. I used to work on having him put photos into albums because it helped remind him of the life he led and and the people he knew and what a wonderful person he was. I would have him take the pictures we decided not to put in the albums (duplicates for example) and have him make Christmas, Birthday and other cards with them. That way, he always had a selection of cards for any occasion and people really appreciated seeing themselves in photos on them. I also found that either cutting out or buying other types of shapes and figures to have him glue in the albums or to the cards kept him from using sharp scissors. We always used UHU glue because it is archival and acid free and could be cleaned up easily with soap and water. Count up all of the Christmas cards, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. your granny may need so you can remind her of the count (sometimes I fudged a little so Papa never seemed to be finished with the number of cards he had yet to make, but he was very forgetful). Another hobby that seemed to keep him busy was gardening. He could pull weeds and plant pretty well without really using tools that could harm him. But, he really needed to be supervised with the water because he had a tendency to drown plants. Hope these are some ideas you can use and best wishes as you care for her, it is a tough disease to cope with.

As for the other answer, anacondas cannot eat real fully grown crocs, they are just to big and powerful. They eat caimans, which are much smaller, but in some cases the anaconda may even become food for the caiman.

My two week old eats like crazy then spits up!?

All of a sudden two days ago my little girl (18 days) is wanting for double what she normally eats. Because I've been having feeding issues she's almost exclusively eating milk in a bottle. She was eating 2ozs every 3 or so hours and now she is eating 3.5ozs - 4ozs in the same amount of time! I try offering her a pacifier first or changing her diaper, making sure she's comfy but she fusses and fusses until I give her more to eat. I burp her after but then an hour later, she spits up! It doesn't seem to bother her much but I'm afraid she's over eating or something. Am I overfeeding her? Should I deny the second bottle? What should I do?

Speaking as a Christian, I can tell you that being a Christian doesn't give you an "I'm perfect" badge. Nor does it give you a free p to do whatever you want just because you've been forgiven. Although I think some Christians forget that, which is why so many people have a bad opinion of Christians. I hung out with a few girls the other day, two of which were my friends and the other I was just meeting. We went to this place close to town that's suppossedly haunted and there's always people driving through it just to check it out. On the way there we all were just talkin and havin a good time. Later she asked me to run back to the car with her and so we did. On the way home she was really quiet, which was the opposite of how she was on the way there. One of her friends asked her if she was still alive and she mumbled something. Then I asked her if she was tired and she shook her head no. At this point i was confused as why she was being so quiet. Problems getting credit but WHY?!!!?

I've got a really good credit history, I have checked my credit report and it is all good, no missed payments or CCJ's etc on the electoral role at my current address, I even checked my credit score and it came out as 999 out of 1000 but yet when I applied for a tesco credit card they said no because my score wasn't high enough! Boiler help! Potterton boiler and immersion tank?

I have a Potterton boiler and hot water tank in my new house but I can't get any hot water. The boiler and tank are both on timers and are set to come on in the morning and the evening. It has worked once so I know there is hot water but hasn't happened since. How do I set the timers to get it to work properly? Does it make any difference that the timer has one setting for heating system and a setting for water heating?

Why is he acting like this?

I have ben friends with this man for years. He even once told me he loved me and I said the same back. I haven't seen him for a year. I am still not well, but we see each other every day regularly through work. Sometimes he is really nice to me, then when we are in the canteen, he acts aloof and cold, like he doesn't know me. If he sees me in the corridor I notice he puts his head down and looks away. I can't interpret the expression on his face. If we were fighting it would be appropriate, but we are not, other times he is quite kind and caring for me. Why is he acting in such a way? I am finding it hurtful. Stinky Diaper Champ?

We have used the Baby Trend Diaper Champ for 5 months now and it is absolutely rancid. We empty it often, and have even tried bleaching the inside hoping to get rid of the smell. We have started wrapping the poopy diapers in scented bags before disposing of them in the Diaper Champ, which we shouldn't have to do according to the company's claims. This still hasn't helped. Any ideas, has anyone else had this problem with this product? Does anyone know if Diaper Genie gets stinky too? My daughter's room wreaks right now and the Champ is empty. BLUE DRAGON GOBY EMERGENCY WILL HE LIVE!?

my blue dragon goby got spooked by another fish and got stuck in a small hole in an ornament that he shouldn't even of been able to get his head into, and i didn't notice for probably around a few hours because i was studying. but anyways when i noticed, i grabbed one of my cutting tools and cut the ornament off of him, behind where he got stuck his body was mostly white when i found him (ussually dark colours) and where he got it stuck on him theres a ring around him where quite a bit of his skin is gone, after i took him out i put him in another tank (the temp was about 5 degree's F lower than the tank he was in but i had no choice) and after a few minutes i can see some of his colour coming back, he is still breathing, and we put medicine in the tank that protects fins and scales... so i was wondering, what would you say the chances are that he will live?
