Why do liberal Americans care if they can visit Cuba legally or not?

Cuba used to be a very beautiful destination, fun and beautiful resorts. Since Castro and this embargo, Cuba has become so poor and not like it use to be, They need our tourism to become what they once were, They have a lot to offer, if we could just work something out with them. I would go if it was legal.
