What are some good books to read that are geared towards 18 - 20 year old (males)?

I normally like to read fiction (fantasy, science fiction, horror [gotta love H.P. Lovecraft], suspense, anything along those lines). It doesn't need to be a TOP SELLER or most popular, something that will (if possible) keep me on my toes, a really engaging story. I recently read Angela's Ashes and although it doesn't fall under these categories, I still enjoyed it. Really any great reading material besides the newspaper would be nice. Suggested authors is also welcome. Thank you and no silly answers! :)
