Which way is more worth it for a desktop?
I've been looking at buying a computer for quite sometime and dell recently got a sale. They have a 8300 desktop going for $899 with 8gb of ram, 1tb of memory, an i5 processor, and Blu-ray Combo Drive (8X BD-R, DVD+/-RW) with DVD+R double layer write capability. (Won't bothing going into full specs since it isn't necessary). They also have another 8300 desktop for $999 with an i7, 12gb of ram, 1tb of memory, and a Single Drive: 16X CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) w/double layer write capability. Now what I am wondering is what is the better deal. Going with the i5 with the blue ray drive and 8gb of ram, or going with the i7 with 12gb of ram and a CD/DVD drive for $100 more?
