What shoes should I wear to the party?

I'm going to a 21st tomorrow night with my boyfriend and we are both the same height so unfortunately, I can't wear heels! I am really skinny and 5 ft 10 brunette....I am going to wear a black asymetric bodycon dress with suspender tights and a black leather jacket. Because the outfit is quite dark, I was going to make it look 'rock chick' and wear short, flat, black biker boots. The 21st is in quite a fancy nightclub so i'm not sure if they will look too clumpy and manly? Or should I just wear flat black shoes, even though they give my long legs a funny shape? All the the other girls will be in heels but I look far too tall in heels beside my boyfriend!
