BLUE DRAGON GOBY EMERGENCY WILL HE LIVE!?

my blue dragon goby got spooked by another fish and got stuck in a small hole in an ornament that he shouldn't even of been able to get his head into, and i didn't notice for probably around a few hours because i was studying. but anyways when i noticed, i grabbed one of my cutting tools and cut the ornament off of him, behind where he got stuck his body was mostly white when i found him (ussually dark colours) and where he got it stuck on him theres a ring around him where quite a bit of his skin is gone, after i took him out i put him in another tank (the temp was about 5 degree's F lower than the tank he was in but i had no choice) and after a few minutes i can see some of his colour coming back, he is still breathing, and we put medicine in the tank that protects fins and scales... so i was wondering, what would you say the chances are that he will live?
