HELP! need help with prednisone prescription.........?

went to doctor this evening. I have bronchitis...they prescribed prednisone 5 mg. and I'm not supposed to start it til tomorrow. The directions say take 6 tablets 1st day, take 5 2nd day, etc. Am I supposed to take them all at once or spread them out throughout the day?
