My friends don't really talk to me?

I'm not really annoying, I'm shy, emotional but talkative but lack of sense of humour, I think. Anyway, ever since I got into into high school, not many friends of mine would talk to me. They usually would only talk to me after the recess. As I arrived at the school in the morning, no one would talk to me. I spend most of my times sitting on my seat, playing with pens and stuffs. I try to join my friends' conversations, but I would be left out. It's kinda sad. So umm, I have this friend, who is really funny, nice and helpful. I asked his once if I'm boring or something, but he said I'm a good friend. But the thing is, sometimes he doesn't really talk to me too. He would only greet me, make some jokes and walk away. I saw him just now when I was going home. I waved at him, but he just gave me an emotionless face. No one ever said goodbye to me. I wish I have a friend who I really can talk to for hours. I'm depressed and my grades suck now. My life seems so dull. Please help me. I dunno what should I do. I tried to make some friends, but I couldn't fit in, I mean they seemed like they don't want another friend. What should I do? =/
